About - Vipin Buckshey
Founded in the year 1980 by Vipin Buckshey, Visual Aids Centre became the first eye centre in Delhi to introduce Lasik surgery in the year 1999. Since then, Visual Aids has been at the forefront of newer technologies in Laser Vision Correction surgery with constant upgrades every year and we have had the great fortune of performing over 250,000 Laser Vision Correction procedures which is the highest number of procedures performed by a private eye centre in India.
Recognition
For his contribution and expertise in eye care and Laser Vision Correction, the Indian Government conferred Vipin Buckshey with Padmashri which is the one of the highest recognitions in India.
About - Vipin Buckshey
Padmashree Vipin Buckshey is an Optometrist & a Laser Vision Correction specialist. He’s been working for over more than 4 decades in eye-care to help people see better. He has catered to several former Presidents and Prime Ministers of India and has been the official optometrist to the President of India.
He graduted in 1977 from All India Institute of Medical Sciences and he began his professional journey as an Ophthalmic Executive at Lawrence and Mayo in 1977. He founded Visual Aids Centre in 1980 which in the year 1999 became the first eye centre of Delhi to introduce Lasik surgery.
He is the former president of the Indian Optometric Association and has delivered multiple lectures on various eye-related subjects at Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lahore, and Colombo. In the last two decades, as a guest lecturer he has extensively spoken on Laser Vision Correction procedures in various parts of the world.
