What Is The Maximum Eye For Contoura Vision?

Contact lenses and glasses can significantly inconvenience most individuals, especially when they interfere with daily activities. People who need their eyesight corrected often choose more permanent options like laser surgery. Candidates for laser eye surgery often have to decide between three different procedures: Contoura Vision, SMILE, and Bladeless LASIK.

Since my identification number is cylindrical, my eyes should respond well to this operation. After three days, there was no longer a need for caution. The next day I was back to my regular schedule. In light of my experience with Contoura, I recommend having the procedure done if the power of your glasses is between -8 D and +8 D. A new beginning, if you will. Without my dumb spectacles, my vision was perfect. I’m thrilled with my improved eyesight.

The Contoura Vision procedure involves the surgical removal of corrective lenses, allowing patients sharper eyesight than ever before. Getting Lasik surgery is massive since so many individuals are suffering needlessly because they are too afraid to get it done. The Contoura Vision procedure is one of the most modern and risk-free ways to throw away those eyeglasses finally. It has received US-FDA approval.

The cost of contoura vision surgery may seem high, yet it is well worth it.

Maximum Eye For Contoura Vision

The maximum amount of myopia that can be corrected is affected by several variables, including corneal thickness, patient age, and pupil size. The corneal thickness lessens by 13-17 microns for every dioptric correction. The residual stromal thickness (RST) must be at least 250 microns in adults over 30 and at least 280 microns in those younger than 30. Also, we need to preserve as much of the original RST thickness as possible (60% minimum). Therefore, the primary reasons limiting the maximal power correction in LASIK surgery are those of the patient, as the machine limit is rather large and is never a limiting factor.

Immediately following surgery, I struggled to open my eyes with a snotty, teary face. Everything seemed hazy and distant. Even through my tears, I could tell everything was finally making sense.

Twenty-four hours after surgery, everything around me was crystal clear when I woke up. There were hardly any tears shed. Tears started to fall as I put the eye drops in. We could make out 80% of the picture.

After the procedure (during the following two weeks), I noticed that my eyesight was becoming steadier each day. She was once so motion sick that she always wore sunglasses when she went out. The usage of electronic devices was limited, and dust was avoided. All tears had dried up. There is a distinct 95% level of understanding.

Reading was possible after surgery, but only for a limited time (in the second week). The clarity had stayed the same and was still using the necessary prudence.

After a month, I no longer needed my glasses for reading. I got into the gym, stopped driving, and continued to experience halo effects after dark. We still had poor night vision.

By the end of the third month, things were looking well; visibility was at 97%, albeit nighttime visibility was still an issue.

My eyesight has improved dramatically over the past few months. Seeing in the dark has come a long way. That’s the most precise vision you can have. Most patients (about 66%) have a vision at or above the 6/6 threshold.

The Contoura Vision Refractive Suite’s game-changing innovations include but are not limited to: The quickest eye tracker in the world is built into the Contoura vision machine. The laser pulses will always hit their target because of the tracker. It monitors the eye’s motion while the laser is delivered for pinpoint accuracy. The SMILE machine does not have a tracking function.

Whether the patient is in an upright imaging position or a prone treatment position, cyclorotation of the eye can occur. This suite accounts for this possibility. The SMILE technology does not include the Cyclorotation Compensation function.

Active Centration Control: This feature ensures that the ablation is moved to the best possible spot for the best possible aesthetic result. Once again, active centration is something that SMILE doesn’t have.

The natural axis of vision in human eyes is called the visual axis, and it is treated by focusing on a line that runs through the centre of the pupil. By focusing on the Visual Axis, Contoura Vision therapy improves visual acuity. As a result of focusing on the pupillary axis, bladeless Lasik and SMILE are blind to the supervision effect.

The Contoura Vision procedure corrects corneal irregularities by smoothing the cornea, producing a nearly perfect optical eye surface. Because of this, everything is evident and easy to see. Therefore, this method exceeds the capabilities of conventional eyewear. There is a gap in care between Bladeless LASIK and SMILE, which is that neither procedure addresses corneal irregularities.

It allows for rapid visual restoration. Two hours after surgery, the patient’s vision begins to improve. The following day, I could see clearly. We refer to this as the “Wow” effect.
