Visual Aids Centre has a long tradition of serving international patients. We serve patients from different countries and diverse nationalities from Asia, the Middle East, Mauritius, Seychelles and East Africa. Medical Visa
The Indian Government has started issuing a Medical Visa for tourists who come to India for medical treatment. This visa is valid for a year or the period of treatment, whichever is less, and can be extended by another year. The medical visa enables a tourist to travel to India up to three times in one year. Two family members or attendants can also accompany a patient on a medical visa. Based on the Indian Embassy's assessment of the patients needs, family members or attendants can be granted a visa, in association with the patient's medical visa.

At Visual Aids Centre we are privileged to be catering to a wide cross section of tourists from across the globe who specially travel to us individually or in groups for the IR Customvue Lasik procedure. For their convenience, comfort and safety we provide free three nights accommodation at walking distance from the clinic. The accommodation is clean, functional, air conditioned with clean attached toilets. This facility is entirely optional at no extra cost and accommodation is offered subject to availability.
